You are a wonderful writer. Thank you for writing this. I called myself a writer for the first time, a few years ago, to a seatmate on an airplane. He asked what I did and I said I was a writer and it felt so very satisfying. Many, many people tell me they want to write when they find out I have five children's books published by an imprint of Penguin Random House. (Yes, it still took me a while to call myself a writer even after that!) Anyway, I ask them if they write and they say, no. Ha, ha. It's like they're looking for a magic fairy to come down and write for them. I've written every day for more than thirty years. I'm now working on non-fiction business books. I always tell people, if you want to be a writer, then write every day. Start there.
